INVIRTUS TECHNOLOGIES, a specialist in geolocation in industrial environments, has just successfully concluded a second round of financing with BACS-Innov, an investment company bringing together alumni from Ecole CentraleSupélec and other Ecoles Centrale – alongside private investors from its own professional network.
This new round of financing marks a turning point in the development of INVIRTUS, incubated since its foundation in 2018 in Nantes, at the heart of the CENTRALE-AUDENCIA-ENSA Alliance.
The origins of INVIRTUS go back to the decisive meeting of the two key founders Raphaël PANTAIS and Frédéric BELHACHE, within a group of Nantes-based origin, which has since become the European leader in the BioAnalysis industry.
The managers had observed the difficulties of the industrialists to find their equipment, the loss of time and money induced by this research. This is how INVIRTUS was born, targeting ETIs and large industrial groups that are open to digital transformation and continuous improvement of their efficiency.
Based on new low-energy consumption technologies, INVIRTUS offers a complete web-based tracking platform, enriched with alerts facilitating the permanent control of sensitive equipment and the creation of a database focused on Artificial Intelligence.
Already adopted by major industrial groups such as AIRBUS or THALES, the INVIRTUS solution offers a return on investment close to 6 months. The company already employs 10 engineers and managers.
This round of financing, complemented by the support of BPI France and its banking partners CIC Ouest and CRCA Atlantique-Vendée, will enable INVIRTUS to accelerate its commercial expansion in France and Europe.
“We are already recognized by the major players in French industry, and we are starting to deliver to our customers in their foreign locations,” said Raphaël PANTAIS, President of INVIRTUS Technologies. “At the end of 2019, we signed two new commercial partnerships that reinforce our access to the European market, without forgetting the SMEs and ETIs of the regional fabric”.
Accompanied by the CCI Nantes-Saint Nazaire, ATLANPOLE, the Réseau Entreprendre Atlantique, AIRBUS Développement and TOTAL Développement Régional, the start-up had already signed in 2018 an initial €90,000 from CENTRALE Innovation and AUDENCIA.
